The Institute of Child Nutrition (ICN) held its annual National Advisory Council Meeting September 29-30, 2015. Members of the council were welcomed to Oxford and the UM Campus by Interim Chancellor, Dr. Morris Stocks, and Dean Velmer Burton of The School of Applied Sciences.
NAC members from across the country represent USDA federal and regional offices, State Agencies, School Nutrition Directors, Higher Education, Industry, and Allied Organizations. These members contribute their expertise as a means of helping ICN explore new ways to continue improving outreach and awareness of resources and information available from the Institute.
Acting Executive Director, Dr. Aleshia Hall-Campbell, led the meeting which provided bi-directional communication and generated positive input on future projects for ICN.
